I have an 05 Supra Launch 21V. Recently had my rear engine cover/ sun deck reupholstered, guy did a good job but with the amount of activity I have it ripped the stitching again. So I was wondering if anyone has taken the cushion off and laid down the SeaDek as a walk way. Any pics or info on it would be great if anyone has done it.

I hope someone has done this and has a pic to share. I am considering the same thing for my 08 Launch 21V.

Well after a lot of time trying to figure out what I wanted to do after my seat had ripped again. Here is was I came up with. It only cost me $150 and about 4-5 hours of my time. I bought the SeaDek and wrapped it around a 12” Azek board. Started but cutting open the seat down the center. Then moved to taking out the foam 11-3/4” total. Then cut the 1 of 4 pieces of Azek. I added the second and then the third and fourth board I cut the curves in. Then I wrapped the third and fourth boards only. Then I moved to wrapping the boards. Once wrapped I moved onto setting the piece on top of the other pieces. Finally screwed the piece from the back side to hold everything together. All and all I’m supper happy with how it turned out. Also I have a good chunk of the SeaDek left if anyone is interested in doing the same idea or just needs a piece.

How did it turn out, did he have any pictures? I posted the same question on Facebook and no one responded. So this is what I came up with.

Yes, there was a picture. Like anything else, these Search engines are not the best, they just pull up a lot of results to look through. Facebook is the same.

In my option, this post looks better - looks like the newer boats. I will see if I can find it.
