Steering cable length for 89 Bravura

I need to replace the cable on our boat. The old helm looks like it precedes the QC type Teleflex systems. I plan to put in a complete helm/cable assembly. If anyone knows the length,please let me know. It will save time to order the new stuff before I finish removing the old . Also, has anyone disconnected the rudder attachment without removing the gas tank?

There is a number stamped into one end of the cable housing that will get you an exact match.
