Just got the new swim platform back from the body shop with the matching gel coat. SC made the platform to best match my 24v transom. Ordered the new pad from SC as well as the new style brackets. Hopefully they don’t take long to get. The old brackets are 100 degrees and the new ones are 103. Shouldn’t make a noticeable difference. I’ll have to fill the holes in the transom and drill new ones for the new brackets. This should also raise the platform at least one inch as well. Can’t wait to ditch the old set up.

Looking better and better. Yea, overpriced, but we own wake boats, tell me something that is not.

Anyone know if there is an aftermarket swim platform for Supra 24 launch that has a telescoping ladder available

So SC makes brackets that attached to the swim platform at different angles. I purchased the 103 degree angle brackets off Great Lakes skipper to save a few buck since I didn’t want to annoy the parts guy looking up every model boat. My boat is pitched at 93 degrees. I cut down an old set of receiver brackets I had laying around. I just needed a 1/2” gap at the top. Works like a champ and I can still use the top screw holes to mount it separately from the new bracket. Cut it with a bandsaw.

I love that new platform! Nice work. With the different angled brackets you can get, could I just change the angle of my stock platform to help with the surf wave, or would that look weird then? 2008 22V Sunsport

Thanks. Installing the new brackets in the same place as the old ones instantly raised the platform about 2” just the way the new brackets work. So if you swap out brackets I’d recommend using the same angle. Plus I think it’d look a little goofy if the platform was pitched up. You could probably find a bracket that’s pretty close to the same angle.

Looks great, nice work! I'm now thinking of my half busted ladder and thinking it may be time for something better...

Thanks!! Well worth the effort

Definitely a difference with the new platform. The wave doesn’t even hit the new platform and parallels the angle of the platform by a few inches.

@turbinesurgeon. So where do I get the brackets I would need for my 08 22V Sunsport? Just to raise it a bit, like you said before.

@turbinesurgeon. So where do I get the brackets I would need for my 08 22V Sunsport? Just to raise it a bit, like you said before.

I purchased the bracket that mounts to your boat directly from my Supra dealer. Part number is 113118
The brackets that mount to the deck I got from Great Lakes Skipper part 114274 but it can be ordered from the dealer too.

Now the part that mounts to the boat is pitched at 3degrees and the arms are pitched at 103 degrees. My original bracket on the boat appears to be 0 degrees and the arms are 93 degrees. This is why I had to make the wedge piece to make the correct angle. It came out exactly like the old one. Now if you are mounting the new brackets to the old platform then it may not give you the desired height your looking for. I say this because the new platform is flat on the bottom and the old on has a lip that hangs down. You might get an inch higher. The other thing to consider is my boat is a 2006 so I don’t know if they changed transom angles in 2008. Worst case is measure it all up and if it won’t work send the parts back.

You can also make a spacer under your original platform if all you want to do is raise it up. If you want to get rid of the problematic mounts then I suggest the new ones.

Hope this helps ya.

I’m curious what the total cost was for this project? It would be awesome if someone was making an aftermarket option to do this...

Around $1400. The worst part was the $450 SeaDek pad. Next time I’ll go directly through SeaDek instead of SC
