2004 Launch SSV Gravity Games Edition - Depth Sounder Issue

Hey All - Brand new to this forum and recently purchased a 2004 Launch SSV. Everything has been working great until a couple of days ago when the depth sounder went completely dark. No power at all. Had the boat out last night and the depth sounder is the only instrument in the panel not lighted. Any ideas on what may be the issue? Any help will be much appreciated, Thanks!

There is a bulb for each gauge. On the back of the gauge under the dash there is a socket attached with the bulb inside. If you turn the socket roughly 1/4 turn counterclockwise the socket will come out and the bulb is in it. Sometimes just turning the socket back and forth slightly will clean the connection and the bulb will light if it is good.

Great information secondsupra2004. Do you or anyone else in the forum have thoughts on why the depth sounder display/reading does not work at all?
