I've always noticed that the rear seat brace of mt '86 comp wasn't in the best of shape. So I finally did something about it. Two 12' sections of PVC plank, 30 stainless wood screws, a staple gun, 6'x1' indoor/outdoor carpeting, and 3 days of leisurely labor(after work of course). Total cost of rebuild, about $50.00 at Home Depot.

Thought I'd post one last one up of the seat put back in. It dropped right back into place. Good thing I measured twice, turns out the floorboards are higher on the starboard side than they are on the port side. It's a shame I'm just gonna have to pull it back out this fall to do the floors.
