Has anyone or does anyone know if it is possible to convert an 01 Supra launch 22 dd to a vdrive?

I was going to ask Cowboymatt0831 - WHY?

I assumed the same as Mr Hunter - buying would be cheaper and easier.

Probably why no one has attempted it and why there are no threads on it.

Cheaper to own three boats...well, maybe, what do I know? :)

We love our boat just would like to have the v drive for two reasons. Now the kids are into surfing and it would be nice to have more floor space.

Hard to sell a boat you like, but the DDrives do not have the flooring space and were not designed to throw wakes for surfing. Nothing new here.

Can you do it (surf), yes. But will you have ballast bags, weight, surf boards all over the place. You will be using up more room. Wake boats were designed to have the seating, storage, and hulls for this. I know people that surf off on DDrives with families and if they get into surfing, they ended up selling the boat.

Sell it and forget about any issues. It is better to buy V drive.
