Skier’s choice starts 2022 production July 5th.

Should be able to get a build slot at your local dealer right now.

I put a deposit on a 2022 sl450 which is suppose to be all new and released any day now. I was told delivery early fall at best.

Sent from my SM-N975W using TapatalkThat is good news. Waiting to hear what will change on the 22 SLs.

The couple things I know.....bow seats have fold down arm rests and a filler cushion back rest that blocks the walkthrough.

4000# sub floor ballast
450 engine standard
5950 dry weight.
Dual 12” subs like SE and SA
New hull and top deck of course.

If anyone hears of a release date keep me posted. I did hear the same changes that you have stated and it is suppose to look amazing.

I wondered if the running surface part of the hull would really change. Figured the look down the side would change.

We will see.

Not sure on the new SL, but crawling under my SA, there are some added features to the 20+
SA running surface that I don’t recall seeing on the previous Gen SA.

Sent from my iPhone using TapatalkI asked Drew about the 450 last night. SL is starting with the 400. Not sure how many takers there will be considering the add'l weight.

Surfers might get away with the 400, not wakeboarders that want to run some weight.

I run wakeboard speeds with 100% bow 60/60 rear, 575# lead and 3 crew 1 rider in a 5800#
SA 400 1.76 no problem, doesn’t even flinch.

SL is +150#

Higher elevations it may struggle for sure.

I never had issues on the 400 with the older trans package when surfing on the SL. That is with a boat full of people and some lead to move around.

Wakeboarding is a little different. Larger crews and some weight, I can feel the motor working harder and the rpms get higher.

Sounds like you running what Scott is running on his 18 SA. His boat is dialed for those inverts he likes to throw.

Scott really helped me dial in the wakeboard wake.
