1988 pirata conversion to a saltare

Is it possible to take the cap off a saltare and put it on my pirata
Kids are all grown up and wife would like a bow rider and instead of buying a different boat wondering if finding an old rotten stringer saltare and removing cap and fitting it to my pirata would be an option19644

Should work as the difference between the Saltare and the Pirata was the top cap I believe.
