My boat seems to be slowing done daily, 2006 supra launch 340. A friend said he think's it may be the wire less connection to the fuel injector.
It back fire's thru the injector when you push for more gas. It also skip's some time's while driving.
The boat has been going 43, then 40, then 38, then 35, now 32.
Should I replace both end's of the wire less connection.

Back firing through the exhaust is ignition. Back firing through the intake is a stuck valve, burned valve, or a lean mixture. First step would be if it is logging a code in the ECU.

do you think changing the oil may help the valve, what do you think about the speed slowing down daily.

Check the fuel filter and fuel pressure.

I have to go and buy a way to check pressure.

My perfect pass does not work at all, it only occasional blink's. Is there a fuse that I can disconnect to keep it from engine operation.
