engine rotation

I have a 1989 supra,351 ford.What is my engine rotation.I have the 1:23 trans.

I believe all Supras have standard rotation engines, i.e. clockwise, viewed from the front. It is those CC boats that have the odd engines that run backwards!

Check your prop. It will be stamped with an L or R -- that will tell you the rotation of your motor.

To try and awnser your question I have an 87 supra ts6m that I just put in a new engine and it was a standard rotation. meaning the same as automotive when looking at the pulleys they turn clockwise! I would think yours is the same unless changed at one time however I do have a velvet drive 1.1 trans that was original. Also if you pull your distributor and have another actual automotvie ford dist to compare to that has the same angle dist gear you should have a standard automotive rotation. Hope this helps!

Thanks,yes supras are standard rotation and yes cc is reverse rotation.I'm installing electronic ing tomorrow,
