2006 SSV Perfect Pass in Speedo

I'm installing a perfect pass and the instructions say to pull the Tach, I have 2 speedo's on this boat so I figured I would pull one of those instead. There are 2 small wires out the back of the speedo that are wired direct. Anyone know what they do and if it will be a problem if I cut them?

Got it figured, they go to the adjustment knobs, It's ok to cut them. Leave a little slack in case you ever want to put it back in.
