2011 242 Launch Transmission fluid

Any chance someone can tell me definitively if I should be using Type A Transmission fluid or engine oil for my trans?

I have a 2011 242 Launch

Your transmission uses transmission fluid.

Your V-drive uses oil.

Do not confuse those two things.
