I’ll never own an inboard again

2022 I bought a 2005 24’ SSV Launch. It was what I thought at the time a good deal. Only 350 hr. Good interior, engine seems fine, etc.
all I’ve done over the last five years is dump about $25,000 into it to try and get it to run.
What is the FING deal with starters??? I’ve had to replace mine every year! Boat always breaks down on the lake and that’s only if you can get it started at the dock.
What a complete POS!!!

Sometimes you get someones bad lemon and you can't even make lemonade with it.

Not knowing why you are replacing starters, my couple of guesses are that there is an alignment problem, the quality of the new starters are junk or the flywheel.

I hope you get the root of the problem and can start having fun.
