Does anyone know what plugs go in an 89 PCM 351? I find refence to 4 different plugs in the PCM owners manual. I pulled Autolite 24's out of it. The gap in the book spec's .035
Can someone tell me what the correct plug is and what the gap should be? Thanks

You can stick with the same plugs, or use the Champion brand(RV12Yc). I have used both, but found the Champion plug mor readily available. I suggest setting the gap at .030-.032. Always replace points and condensor, cap and rotor, when replacing plugs. Your point gap should be .018 on the points. Brian Raymond

Hello Brian,

I am about to change the plugs in my '89 Comp. I noticed that you are suggesting a gap in the plugs to be a little smaller than what the owners manual suggests at 0.035, Can you tell me why you think .030 to .032 would be better?

Thanks,

DZ.
