I know I saw reference to how to tell if you had a GT or now buy the number of lines on the back of the head. the thread also referenced the difference in HP between the GT and Non GT. But do you think I can find the thread./

Three lines indicate GT40 heads; they give 285hp on a carb 351 and 310hp on an EFI. 351

Two lines means you have the standard 240hp heads with hardened exhaust valve seats so it can burn unleaded fuel.

A single line means leaded fuel is required or a lead substitute may be used.
