Should I be worried about this? Is it worth getting it repaired? Will my boat look like hell after the repair? Thanks for your help.:(

You talking about the tower itself, or the gelcoat?

Can you post some pics of the problem?

If your tower is cracking, yes you need to get it fixed. Gelcoat is just cosmetic.

No the tower is fine. Fine horizontal hairline cracks have formed just above the tower supports on the gellcoat. Only on the port side. From these threads I've heard of people installing rubber gaskets on the inside of the hull. Is this easy to get to the bolts to the mount? I can't take a picture right now because my boat is shrinkwraped. Thanks for all your advice.

when i had my 05 ssv 22 i had the same problem with cracking around the front tower mounts along with some under the front cushions in the playpen.

sc warrantied the repair work and xtreme marine in kc did a very nice job.

now the hull blistering was a whole different problem
