Putting the engine is my TS6M project. YEA!!!!!
Anyone know the tolerance for the fore/aft measurement for the engine. By lining up the polished part (packing) of the propshaft I can probably get it within 1/4" without too much trouble. Close enough?
If off too much looks like the inteference issues could be with the engine cowl, oil pan and transmission.
THANKS!

are you setting the mounts and dropping the engine on them or waiting to set them until the engine is almost in place?

1/4" is close enough for me. you can always check rudder clearance while the engine is still hanging in place.

good luck

I left the mounts attached to the engine to aid alignment. It looks like, if you wanted to, you could shift the engine forward or back a few inches.

Drilling holes tomorrow :)
