03' SSV Kenwood Replacement

Wondering if anyone knows if the newer OEM stereos (Kenwoods I believe) will fit in a 03' SSV without having to make alterations to the dash. My Kenwood KDC-MPV7019 is very intemittent, most of the time the face plate illuminates but it doesn't repond to any inputs like volume, station changes etc. My thought is to replace it with the same version if I can find one or get another stock because I want to still have my transom control work.

Any thoughts?
