Anyone here have the Roswell Tower speaker set-up? I am considering adding some tower speakers on my '08 and like the Roswell set-up, wanted to know if anyone is running this and how they sound? and where did they go to purchase them? is this a dealer only item? possibly some other tower speaker recommendations with the rad-a-cage tower and Z5 cargo set-up?

Thanks - Fman

I like the bar and the lights - but do you already have amps and such?

Check here, don't know if this is still for sale or not:

I have the mako tower speaker light combo that use to come on the supras. It has 4 6.5 MB's 5 lights and to led lights that I would sell you. It looks alot like the roswells other than where the roswells are curved mine is stragiht all the way across. They sound great and are plenty loud.

Thanks for posting that link Todd, but I've already sold that.

Fman, if you can't find one of those Roswell light bar's for very cheap, I'd just add something else. Post up what your budget on the lightbar and speakers would be, and maybe we could give you a few options. I had that light bar that's listed in that for sale link, and it was okay. With the OEM Kenwood's, it sucked! I cut those cans out and added teh Wet Sounds XS650's, and they sounded pretty awesome. Those were replaced this year with the Wet Sounds 3-some, and it's even better.

Check wakeworld and wakeboarder, and maybe even ebay for something used. I guarantee you'll pay dearly for that Roswell piece if you buy from a dealer. Explore your options first.

I currently have the Kenwood/kicker amp/6 kicker speaker system that came with the boat. The system in my opinion sounds pretty good, as far as tower speakers I was trying to stay under $1000 with an amp. I am assuming I will need to add another amp for the additional speakers?

Any recommendations would be great.

Hey Fman PM sent,

Also you will defiantly need another amp to push your tower speakers, to get the most out of them

Take care Jason

I just installed the Fusion T-Series Combo Tower Speakers ($375) and a kicker MX700.5 amp ($300). The amp is bridged for the tower speakers and also pushes the subwoofer. I think it sounds pretty good and itsn't TOO expensive. There are more details here:

Hope that helps some!

(1) Wet Sounds Syn Micro: $359 http://www.wetsounds.com/pages/products/SYN2.html
(2) Wet Sounds XS-650 in boat speakers: $199/pair (use 2 pair) http://www.wetsounds.com/pages/products/SYN2.html
(2)Empty polished speaker cans: Around $125/pair on ebay.

That would be the perfect tower setup. I had those same speakers on my tower before I swapped everything over. They are MUCH louder and cleaner than normal car audio speakers, especially the Kicker DS series that a lot of people use. The Syn Micro has plenty of power for 4 of those, and that would be right at you're $1,000 budget.
