Well my search for a supra has come up short of good. I'm looking for something similar to a supra pirata, I would love a big block but also was thinking a 92 or newer boat because of fiberglass stringers etc. Would like some imput on where and what kind to look for. Definatly needs to be inboard haha

I'd also check out onlyinboards.com - or if you're interested in an 86 Sunsport that has a few good years before stringer replacement I'll sell you mine!

if i had it all to do over again, i'd buck up and look for a 92 or later like you said. i know there are some from the 80's that are in great shape but they are few and hard to find.

or, be willing to drive a good distance. i've seen 1 or 2 owners of older supra's on wakeworld make the switch to the dark side...new boats. you've still got a bit of a gamble on your hands but at least you know alot more about the boat than someone who's had a boat sitting out in the elements for a few years.

this is a great time to be buying if you can expand the budget. a great previous owner who has bought a new boat and needs to sell the old one...

Killing some time at work and came across this craiglists add for a 95 Sunsport that looks to be in good condition for only $10K!!! Had I come across this 3 months ago when I was search for a good deal on a 90s Sunsport I probably wouldn't have the payment I have now on a new one.

If your still in the market I would definitely look into it....seems like a steal.
