Sounds fun, I am doing last upgrades on my boat, then need to detail it, and get the boatlift and dock in the water. My parents are on the Mississippi River in Minneapolis, MN. I am dreaming of Mexican beer on the water mmmmmm...

Lets see some pics! Your boat and your lake!!!! I have always wanted to visit BC.

Amen to that... I'm dreaming of Three Lakes and Eagle River WI and the 39 never-ending lakes on the chain that seem beg to be cruised upon. Pancakes and bacon in the morning and a cup of killer coffee on the porch overlooking the dock with our boat moored to it and a lake that mirrors against the early morning sky........... Aahhhhhhhhh

I will take some pictures of the lake, my boat and the desert next weekend.
gasoline is cheaper this year so maybe a road trip to BC with your boat is a
option you should check out. I may even rent out my 5th wheel trailer this
year the last 2 weeks in August.

Here are a few photos I took of my 2002 Launch SS back in March. Check out the plexiglass panel I made to prevent hitting the switches with my elblow and leg. Special thanks to Michael Hunter for explaining how the get the pictures on the forum. Also thanks to JasonBal1 for the great deal on the tower speakers......................Dave

MIKEY D ya were in a nice hood in Deep Cove area of North Vancouver BC.We live 3 blocks from local boat launch and my father inlaw has a house on the water in Deep Cove. So thats why I jumped on this Supra from Puget Sound as it had fresh water cooling and galvanized trailer, I have my own private dock at inlaws so who would not want to ski in the ocean when its so close.A friend at Osoyoos lake bought a 2004 Launch with same tower last
August so I was able to test drive and ski thier boat and also measure the hieght of the tower when folded down so I knew 2002 Launch with illusion tower would fit in my garage. Garage is 25 ft deep on one side, I bought house in 1994 cause it fit my previous boat(most standard garages are 20ft). Denali & M35X sit out in the weather all year, my boats have always been stored inside.

Will post some Ocean pics of Indian Arm and the Vancouver waterski club
at Bidwell Bay soon and also pics of Osoyoos lake and my buddies sweet
red & white 2004 Launch SS DD

Anyone know how to attach my photos to (A Thread of Everyones Boat)??
I see a few people have pics loaded on that thread.

Can we load streaming video on forum page? I would love to send in a 2 minute video of me skiing 50 ft wide canal in Osoyoos at 22 off, or my buddy
Norm skiing it at 37 off at 36 mph( this guy can really rip)

Salty: Yeah I like the graphics on this Launch, my buddies 2004 launch has newer wakeboard boat style of graphics in red & white, were as mine has older traditional style of Supra Graphics.

I looked on archives link of Supra Boats, and compared pics of Graphics between 1999 and 2006 launches in SS or standard trim
The 2002 Launch SS in Yellow & White trim is the best looking boat of all the Supra Launches in the photos that are displayed in archives.(my opinion)

So I settled for same boat in black trim and I am really happy I bought it.

Thanks to all who responded to my photos, it really means alot to me

Dave the boat and the speakers look great man.

How did you make out with finding a heater core for your boat??
did radiator repair shop cross reference one for you??

Those Roswell tower speakers sound great out on the water, 3 amps is really the way to go and I am glad I put in 3 batteries. The 100amp alternater seems to handle full throttle stereo with heater on high.

I also installed a marine built in battery charger that sends 7 amps to 2 batts
on switch post#1 and 2 amps to backup battery on switch post# 2

So now I do not have to take off battery box lids and charge batteries one at a time, when now I just plug it in and it recharges and maintanes a float charge on all 3 batteries.

ya i got them from bgm sports in edmonton alberta, thats were i got board rack, s1 mirror and new surf board,4 polk db651 speakers.

i did not mount them exactly level to each other but ya i think they add to the appearance of the rear of the boat
wish i had bought 2nd board rack for drivers side but maybe i will get surfboard rack instead,or waterski rack

Hey Dave the radiator shops were no help it had leaks everywhere so they couldnt save it. I had 2 shops spend hours to try and match but none of them were close to the same size the closest was a 69 camaro but still didnt work. Searched around online and found one at go2marine for 85.00 dollar so I just ordered it.

Beautiful Launch SS. Love that particular series of launch. Looks classy, clean, and timeless!!!

Simply put... Nice!

I have an answer for you on the charging question... Your charger will charge all three batteries with only two banks, you can bridge one bank to two of the batteries and the other to one, but the charger will most likely not be able to handle a deep soak charge... however, it is best to be using a three bank smart charger that can monitor each battery individually. If you want your engine to charge any or all of your batteries no matter the depletion, you can do that by installing a galvanic isolator. If you need them, I will float you some wiring diagrams for you.

Jason, glad to hear you found a heater core, I think I will stay with roswell so speakers, racks and stickers all jive together,I really do not like the drivers seat they use in 2002 launch ss its very uncomfortable and looks cheap. Is there a seat available that I could upgrade to?? would like something that swivels and can slide back and forth, also more comfort and higher sides around thighs and ass to hold you in your seat on tight turns. have to worry about clearance towards throttle control cowling and still have seat centered to steering wheel.
Maybe your guy at viper has some ideas on this( no hurry this is for next season)
