Unknown knob on 02 Launch

I just bought a 2002 Supra Launch and it has a black knob above the ignition on the left side of the instrument panel and was wondering if anyone knew what that did. I looked thru an owners manual which didnt help.

On my 08, the blower switch is a knob near the ignition ...

Does it look anything like what is in the attachment?

It looks similar to that and in a similar location but I have a separate blower switch on mine. Ill try to get a pic up soon. Its just wierd, its not even listed in the owners manual as being there, although i know they are trying to cover several models with the same book.
