Question about supras history

Just an observation and question but it seems like you see alot of 80's model supras and then you see alot of supra's in the 2000's but what about the 92-99. I know I have one and I think there is 2 other people on here that do but was this a slow time for supra and they didnt make many or what just curious why you dont see more of them.

that's an interesting point. I've got a 99 Legacy that i just love, but I haven't seen another one anywhere.

That's very interesting... Are 92-99 Supras have no wood in the construction and Kevlar in the fiberglass. Do they still do that?

That is a good question. I have wondered that also. Someone here will know.

Supra went the thru a change of hands once or twice in that period they also had a big fire and lost one of there buildings in the 90's also. So there was a few things to consider there. On the west coast were im at we see alot of 80s thru 90's Supra, and now some of the later models. Mastercraft and Nautique are big out here so we see way to many of those. Hope this answers anyones questions..

Maybe during that time they were manufacturing more of the MOOMBA boats, which i believe are made by SUPRA boats?? :confused:

Moomba and Supra are made by Skiers Choice.

In the 80's the boats were manufactured by Supra Sports, Inc. Then I think I remember something about a change of hands in the early 90's. Isn't there a bit about that under the "About Supra" tab on this site?

I had a 95 TS6M- "STS"....Great ski boat but too small for the growing family.

Now....i did have a rotting floor problem around the pylon so the no-wood in the boat thing is not correct( at least on that boat)....great boat with absolutly no wave( great skier).......but we've all gone a little wakeboard-ish latley so we traded for a launch.
