Stringers on a 92 Mariah

Fiberglass or wood? Dealer says wood because noone used fiberglass in 92 but i thought that supra started in 92 please help

Your dealer is right in 92 supra started using fiberglass! You can also pull your lag boats on your engine andtrans mounts and will see the wood. this is also a good way to check your stringers condition. I the lag bolts are dry and in good condition so are you stringers. The wetter and worse shape your lag bolts are most likely are your wood stringers. The stringers almost always go bad around the engine!
