So I found this boat on craigslist. It looked like a good boat at the right price. Problem, it in TN and I am in IN. Solution, take Friday off and make a vacation out it. Well I bought it. So I stayed two nights at Dale Hallow. A very awesome lake (big, clean, and lot of private channels and coves). Long story short, I had an awesome vacation and came home with my first boat. She is a beauty. I am excited and so looking forward to this summer!

Wicked Sweet!!!! Have fun! I spent a few days at Dale Hollow last June what a great lake and community. I hope to make it back over there again this year.

Awesome acquisition. Got the same color scheme and it still so sharp looking to me that the extra time wiping down water spots will be well worth it. Enjoy!

Wow that sounds familiar. I found my 05 22 SSV on boat trader and told the wife I was going on a business trip from here in Ohio to Atlanta, GA. Drove 8 hrs down, slept in the van, the next day looked at and test drove the boat on Lake Lanier, made a deal, then brought it home. Put it in a local lake here and then we went camping at that lake. Walked over to the boat docks and asked how she liked that blue one over there. She said that it looked great and if we were to get a new boat, it would look just like that. After sleeping in the dog house and being on double secret probation from spending more than $50 on anything for several months, we are happily enjoying our boat, lol.

Glad to see you enjoy Dale Hollow as much as we do. We started going on a yearly houseboat trip with friends from Indy back in 93 and have only missed once or twice. We usaually go out of Wisdom dock, but have used Sulfur Creek once or twice and usually run in and out of Star Point during the trip. We usually have 16 - 24 people, but were as high as 57 one year with 4 house boats all tied together and people sleeping on tents up top. That was crazy fun, but many years ago when we could all get by with 2 or less hours sleep a night. Lake Cumberland and Norris Lake are also very nice KY/TN lakes with tons of room and lots of coves.
