89 Conbrio PCM 351 idle adjustment

I bought this boat this year. It runs great. It seems to idle really low...usually around 400-600 rpm....and it sometimes makes it hard to go from neutral to drive. How difficult is it to adjust the idle on these. Any help would be appreciated.

Very easy there is a straight blade screw on the throttle cable side of the carb.
Turn the screw clockwise untill the idle speed is where you want it.

Manual says idle should be 600rpm. Most people run somewhere between 600-1000.
