I believe I need to replace the water pump impeller. There isn’t any water flow to the engine when the boat is sitting still. The water begins to flow once the boat is in motion.

I have the Indmar 330 MPI. Are there any tips on how to remove the old impeller and how to install the new one?

This replacement should be done at the beginning of every season, and/or every 100 hrs. Not a difficult job, for help and hints, contact [email protected]. Brian Raymond

i don,t agree about changing the impellor every 100 hours.
i know you will be safe when you do,..but the last 3 years we made 400+ hours per season on each boat.I only change them once a year.and they were still looking good.
but keep the 100 hour in mind and you,ll be safe.

it is a simple job.
if you can not get the old one out try it with a screwdriver at different places around the impellor to push it out.
be carefull..!! protect the edges on the waterpump housing to prevent it from leaking water thru the seal.
