1987 supra comp transmission problem

I have noticed a small leak in the transmission at the shifting linkage when the boat is underway..... the fluid level is always checked and recently the transmission has started slipping when turning sharply or pulling a skier...
The transmission has never been overheated, low in fluid, and has always been serviced. (The screen or fluid shows no sign of metal particles)..
Any help would be appreciated.

Sounds like you are low on fluid. If it only slips when you turn then your fluid level is too low to keep fluid to the pickup. A leak at the linkage means you probably have a bad seal on the control valve.

Thanks, can you suggest where to get a new o-ring

Skidim.com. I just got a oring from there, you will also need a flat gasket they also carry. They were under ten bucks for both I do believe.
