i tried it this weekend and had a blast. Now i want to get a surfboad. The wake was about 4 feet high with stock ballast on the 05 22ssv. I am not sure if it is enough to let go of the rope though. Any suggestion on wakesurfing behind the 22ssv? Do i need bigger ballast, get a couple 200lbs+guys on the back?

I put the 750 lb fly high sacs in the rear and it made a huge difference in the size of the wake. I did have to extend my fill and drain lines because this sac will take up the entire compartment, its a monster. Read my post on the "perfect wave", I have an '08 22V sunsport, I can easily throw the rope in now and surf away. I am 6' 1" and weigh 195 lbs, riding a Hyperlite Broadcast 5'6" board.
