Anyone know where a good place to find upgraded wheels for my Sunsport? I have the boatmate trailer, with the chrome steel wheels. I would like to go with an aluminum wheel and better tire. I am sure the dealer can get them, but was hoping to find some used or at a reduced cost.

Thanks....

Call Jerry at boatmate trailers they have some blems, and used wheel and tires and prices have been really good

Good idea getting blems - you'll never know the difference except in your wallet :D Also, you can get lucky on ebay once and a while.

I just upgraded to some aluminum wheels last weekend. I like them. It really changed the looks alot. Makes the boat look more modern. I will try to get some pictures of them posted soon.

I never understood why Supra orders those chrome wheels on the trailers, especially when they market themselves as the "luxury ski boats".

When I bought my Launch 24 I called Boatmate and asked about the wheels rusting and they told me they will rust eventually, might be in one year or 10, but they will rust. So I pulled the nice aluminum wheels off my Byrant I/O trailer and swapped them out with the chrome. Its amazing how much better it makes the Supra look sitting on the trailer. I would think the showroom appeal would be worth Supra upgrading their trailers. :-?

Those are very clean looking, they look great under your boat. If you dont mind, how much did you pay for them? and where did you pick them up?

Thanks...

You know, if you buy the RIGHT boat from Supra, they include the
"bling wheels" -- I think the fancy ones are standard on all the new
Gravity Games.

These look great, but they have these REALLY low profile tires that I know
will cost a TON to get replaced...

Your are RIGHT, but keep in mind those tires were made to be under a 3000lb car not 6000lbs of boat, trailer and gear.

They do look sweet though!

I'll try to sap a pic of my aluminum "trailer" wheels tonight.

Thanks, I got them at a local wheel and tire shop. Wheel and tire with new ceter caps...mounted and everything cost about $275 for both. I didn't think that was bad at all!
The place I bought them ships stuff all the time. If you want their number I can get it for you.
