engine in 1989 supra sunsuport ?

does anyone know what engine is in the 1989 supra sunsport
Im looking for new spark plug wires and am having a hard time finding out what engine is in my boat

The motor should have a PCM or Indmar nameplate screwed onto the intake manifold somewhere - I think 1989 is going to be a PCM. The nameplate will have a serial number that we can decode for you. Probably you have either a Ford 351 Windsor or a GM 454 - I don't think that Supra put a GM 350 in the Sunsport until later. Another easy check, if the distributor is in the front, it's gotta be a Ford and will be the 351.

That's a Ford casting # so I'm almost positive you have the 351

Mine is a PCM 351 with a Holley 4160 carb.

Go to my profile page, i have an 86 sunsport with a 351W. I have pictures of the engine on my page. If yours looks similar to that then it's a 351W!

Skidim has original equipment PCM wires in stock. Might as well change the points cap and rotor as well.
