I just posted the 04 SSV gravity games thread and didn't realize I wasn't logged in. But I have a question on proper break-in.
I don't even remember the break-in period on my 98 Mobius. For the new 04 SSV Supra, what should I do to break in the boat and for how many hours?
Thanks,
Bryon

1 avoid running the engine at high speeds
2 Do not carry a heavy load
3 vary your boat speed , don't run for a long time at the same rpm
for the first hour do not exceed 2000 rpm
for the second hour do not exceed 3000 rpm
for the next five hours do not exceed 4000 rpm
Always let the engine warm up before acceleration.
Best of luck with your new ride

Thank you for this information. Just for clarification, is it considered broken in after 8 hours of following your guidelines?
Thanks,

The info is right out of the Owners manual, When I break a motor in, after 10 hours I change all the oils, Enjoy
