That is awesome! I dont know if I would ever try it. It looks like it would hurt pretty bad eating it on one of those. Was it pretty hard to learn?

Not too hard to learn to ride. Just forget "most everything" you have done in any other water sport. I have had worse crashes on the wake board though. This mostly ribs, head and neck get whacked pretty good.

The tricks are so much higher and bigger. Plus you can do tricks/inverts anywhere (flats and wake) Very Addictive!!!!!

I tried the stand-up foil this past weekend. That is a different ride all together.

I am just new into foiling, I bought a Air chair before I got onto all the forums.. just ordered all the cinch stuff, came out of the foil trying a back flip, not going to wait to see if I get luck two times! Anyways, from a fresh guy in the sport, by board rack sits empty, the rush you get flying across the water, epsecially over big waves that would rattle your teath on a board... is awesome! Wish I bought a used Sky Ski, LE rather than a new air chair, way more options available... The chair works fine for me now, but as a riders ability increases, you wish you had the Sky ski...

The SkySki Le38 is good. I ride the FoilTech T-bar and wings (Australia) Lately I have been riding the FoilTech T-bar with N2Orbit(Ohio) wings and the ride is Awesome!!! More Air and easier, more forgiving landings. I started with the Le38 T-bar Xtreme Mach 2.5 Front Wing Le Rear. Then I quickly Changed to the FoilTech Gear. Much Faster and LOTS more air. Check on the FoilTech and http://n2orbit.com/ If you get hooked like I did you will have the best gear there is.

BTW I'm KO1 on the Foil Forum

I don't think it happened -- pretty sure it was cancelled. We were there for a different reason and were in Bullfrog bay on the 4th - and didn't see any riders. (at least there)

We did run into a BUNCH of riders Narrens, Chris Barnard, Al Lewin, (Schumacher and Ferney were coming later).

We ended up going to Jim Chismar's on Mountain Island Lake. We had a great time every one stepped up and added a few new tricks.

Thanks for the info, I am working my brother in law in Ontario to become a Sky Ski dealer, only because there is NOTHING in our area, but as I said, my buddy is coming from the west with a LE, that I understand is dressed nice, can't wait to fly it, although I know it'll cost me $$$. Hey post your turtle photo...

Were you guys out on Norris Lake in TN a few weeks back?

We saw a bunch of you guys down by G-Rides and followed ya'll for a bit to check out the action. We were on an Orange X15 with Chicago Mastercraft stickers on it or my White 21V with Ultimate Wake stickers on it.

You guys killed it....cool for us to see something different...we don't see foilers too much up here.

Yep that was us. I had the Black and Orange 21V (FoilTech Decals). There were 3 Malibus, 2 MC with us. 22 people riding all together. That is a great lake.

Thanks KO!!!

Here is the link for all that might want to watch --- look for the "Personal Hydrofoil"
to see some professional video of the wifey riding ... it wasn't her best day - but this
should show you what it's all about.

If anyone wants, there are TONS of really incredible videos of hydrofoiling on youtube

Holy Crap KO.

You and KO2 ... sorry, something wrong with people that jump out of a seemingly
perfectly good airplane. (at least to me) - but she must have been SOOOOO jazzed!!!
