Engine dies when stereo is on

2006 supra 22ssv, engine dies when driving and stereo is on. Turn the stereo off and it does not happen.

Voltage regulator or alternator problem maybe ? I'm not sure

Sounds like motor does not have enough electrical power when stereo is pulling juice also. Is it a large stereo system? Did you check your battery/batteries could be goung bad. See how many volts yor alt is putting out while motor is running. I would start with battery connections, clean them at all ends. Check your alt connections also.
