Is is possible to build a cruise control for an older boat?? Has anyone done it??

Seems like you could build one just like what goes on a car... right? They work off vacuum and simple electronics... I bet someone really smart could fabricate one and sell the poo out of them!



Maybe I am going to have to figure this out.... ;)

best I can do is to buy certain PP parts used to save a few $$$ and then buy the missing parts new from PP. Only catch is you have to call them to really figure out what you need for your boat. I thought I knew, I was way off. ski-it-again.com has some used PP parts.

There are also a couple other older brands of speed control (some no longer in business). There are deals to be had if you search.
