Rope packing 86 ts6m

I have a black rubber shaft seal with two hose clamps on one end of it, it is spraying water everywhere, no matter how tight I tighten it.. When I losen and slide the rubber piece back I do not see any rope packing at all.. Is the rop packing inside the rubber seal? or supposed to be? please help..

OK, I was just informed that the 85 Supra introducted a new seal that was totally garbage, infact they only used it for one year.. Mine does have any nuts you tighten or rope packing.. Ski Dim said to just purchase the 1inch Oj Seal or the Pss Seal.. but then I have to plub a water supplie to the seal as well.. geez..

you will like this alot better, if it ever leaks just a little you just tighten the water seal and your done. never repack again.
