Where does the blower mount in the engine compartment? Mine was just sitting in the bottom of the boat. Thanks for any help

damn dawg, that's no good. i don't think it should be in the bilge. i've always seen them under a seat or something with a hose connected to the bilge that draws air out. then another hose that's connected to the vents on the transom blowing air out the back.

i'd look for a hole in the floor somewhere in the back or something to attach a 3" air hose to.

Mine is down under the engine also. I added two more though up high on both sides. In the winter I attach 3" flex duct to them and use them for heat to the driver and passenger.

Mine is next to the motor mounts, up on top the main stringer. Try and keep it out of the water that may collect in the bilge.

sounds like i was wrong on that. i didn't think blowers were ignition protected.

They are not ignition protected. It was a mistake Supra did back in the day. It should be out of engine bay under seat etc.

ditto to Mikey, up on the starboard stringer...mid engine, with flex ducting....I was suspect of the location cuz mine looked homemade, but it works and upon closer inspection the blower mounting clamp looks OE.....

Still a fan of lifting the doghouse.......

Mine are at the rear, tucked up above and behind the fuel tank. I did not know there were so many different mounting locations from the factory! P ut 'em where you can...
