Looks like the seal at my shift linkage on my 1990 Sunsport - 500 hrs just blew. It was self imposed. At the beginning of the season I replaced the buzzing pressure release valve (stock) with a hose that skidim sells. Issue was, I tightened the cap too much, pressure did not relieve, seal blew.

Any advice? Am I outside of DIY land?

Thanks in advance gents.

easy repair, order a set of o-ring/seals from Marysville Marine supplier. Only use original Velvet Drive parts in your tranny. Allan
