Alternator?

Does anyone know what model or where to get an alternator for an 83 351. Its off a 1983 rider.

I got mine from rareelectrical.com it was a 90 amp and only 70 bucks have been very happy with it all year and the people were great to deal with .

http://www.db-starter-alternator.com/ -- Email them the part number on your old alternator. They have cheap marine alts.

I got mine from DB electrical also. I got a 140 amp marine grade for only 130 bucks (included shipping)

I also went with DB because they had such a good site, knowledgable staff who answered the phone right away, etc. Here is my thread on the topic

Mine had an external regulator if I get a new alt with an internal reg do i just skip the regulator and run the one wire to the res.
