We have a 2002 SSV that has a high idle issue.
It does not high idle when the engine is turned off and then restarted.

It high idles when slowing down to pick up a rider.

I have cleaned the flame arrester, and the vacuum hose has no apparent holes.

Can anyone help with this problem?

Is your perfect pass on when this happens? If your PP is on, it might be a problem with the perfect pass. Try it with the PP turned off and see if you have any different results.

Sounds to me like it could be the pp not functioning properly.
