rpms wot go over 3k

89 Supra comp w/352 pcm. Why wont it rev over 3k. Points? Timeing? carb problems? Where should I start?

When did the problem start, has the boat been in use? How many hours? Has engine been modified? When was last tune-up? We need more info.

just a guess, but all the above....

it's got a 351....352...whatever it takes (great movie....mr mom) ;)

start cheap....tune up kit, fuel filter, power valve on the carb

I get a parts catalog from Skidim and beside some of the parts they give you a brief overview of when you may want to replace certain parts. One of the things that they said that if you arent getting full RPMs at WOT the fuel pump on the engine may need replaced.
