My center ballast fill fuse took a crap today on the lake. I noticed it is a 3 amp fuse for the fill and 5 amp for the drain. Has anyone replaced the 3 amp fuse with a little heavier rating. I was considering putting at least 5 amps in. And are they standard automotive style or marine?

Thanks....Travis

That's because you upgraded the pumps. Check the amperage ratings on teh pump to see what the max. is. A 5A or maybe a 10A would be okay. I was killing the drain pump fuses for the center dump pump because carpet was getting into the pump and locking it up. That was fun when it had 1100# in it.

Oh yeah, they're a standard blade fuse like you'd find in a parts store.

Ahh, that makes total sense... I know the Tsunami pumps only run about 2 amps, so I am thinking a 5amp will work with no problems.

Thanks for the info.
