I found this today online and it seems like a pretty cool idea. Ive always thought it would be nice to control the music from behind the boat, but never thought anyone had actually made anything for it. By chance have any of you tried it?

Looks cool. I would have been interested before I put in the boost box.

Pretty cool, but so incredibly unnecessary...I seriously don't think I would ever care about having the ability to control the stereo while behind the boat, lol.

This might be hard to justify if you already have a transom remote, but I think if you don't, this would be a very cost effective solution to controlling your tunes both on the water and when docked. I have been trying to get my IR remote to work from our houseboats to my boat and it is only 10 so feet away with speakers point toward the houseboats and it won't reach. Anyway, I might invest in one of these if it is compatible with my stock Kenwood HU that I don't see on the list. Would have to make sure the Sirius connection does not get in the way as well.

As opposed to a transom remote...totally agree.
