Driver's Seat

Do any of you have issues with the driver's seat being wobbly on the older Supras? Mine is a pedestal base and it has a couple plastic sleeves between the metal shaft and the seat base. I've tried epoxying the one sleeve to tighten things up, but that hasn't held up. Any thoughts or ideas?

Mine is not wobbly at all. Not that it helps you... The removable cushin though, is about due for a replacement since the wood is almost done for.

The two sleeves you spoke of are a one piece plastic cup that fits between the seat post and the base on mine. I had to replace it once before it tightened the seat back to new.

I'll get some pics...I think it will help. There is the plastic cup with the grooves for locking the rotation at various positions. Then there is a plastic sleeve that just looks like a piece of pvc slit lengthwise. I'm wondering if the cup is the wrong size and something the PO kinda rigged to make work.
