Has anyone replaced the stock tower light with a LED replacement? I have a 06 22SSV and was considering this part http://www.attwoodmarine.com/store/product/5580

That is really cool! I bought and installed a Monster Tower navigation light ontop the tower but it is incandescant. That replacement is really cool! $42

I've been looking at this one (I hit my monster tower light on a tree branch and broke the base) but... this LED unit wouldn't be higher than my tow point.... anyone think that's a problem?

same concerns here. boards in my racks are just as high and would block the light from the side at certain angles.
