Hi everyone. I'm new to Supra and to this site. It appears to have a lot of valuable info and a good group of people here and I look forward to getting to know you all a bit better and learn from you.

I have a buddy that has a Moomba LSV that I credit for my interest in Skiers Choice products. I had a 2000 Rinker 212 Captiva for 4 yrs and after seeing his new boat, I had to trade. I recently picked up a 2005 21V Launch and love it so far. It is such an upgrade for my family. Since going from an I/O to an inboard...we have started wakesurfing and do so probably 90% of the time. The knee boards, skiis and wakeboards have barely seen the light of day in the last 2 months .

I live in TN, about 1.5 hrs from the Skiers Choice plant and plan on a tour in the near future. OJ props is also about 20 minutes from the Skiers Choice plant and would like to tour that as well. I'll post pics when it happens. I work about 15 minutes from the beautiful Dale Hollow Lake. So, if anyone is ever in the area, give me a shout.

Here's a few pics....

Pics were taken with my blackberry so not the best quality.

Thanks for looking and see you around.

Welcome Scottie,

I also moved to a Supra from an I/O - loved the old boat - but really love the new one. WOW on that wake!

Welcome!

What a great looking boat and wake! I also switched from an I/O and the advice on this board has been tremendous for me.

From one newbie to another. Welcome. Yeah I would call that a bit of an upgrade. That looks like a nice wake for surfing, I've never tried it but I'm getting the itch.

When I had the I/O - I HATED surfers - they tear a monster all the way down the lake,
not like tubers (wally's) who "generally" stay pretty much in one part.

The day I bought the Supra, I bought a surfboard - have only tried once - and did OK,
given that it was IMMEDIATELY OBVIOUS I was on the WRONG SIDE!! but it was almost
dark, and the ballast was all on one side - I just "suffered" - fell more than I rode, but
was up for a while.

In our boat - only "guests" and our kids Wakeboard - the old people are all about
hydrofoiling.

Todd,

What is hydrofoiling? Is that the "air chair"?

SSmith,

Welcome to the site, there are some great people here who will help you with any questions or problems that occur with your Supra. That is a great looking boat, I am sure you will have a blast with it. Nice upgrade!

Air Chair is a brand of Hydrofoil, yes - so is Sky Ski - which is what most
people ride these days.

Here is my wife last fall at Lake Powell (this is a GRANDMA!)

Thanks for the warm welcome. We gave the Supra a good workout today with about 3 hrs of wakesurfing and 1 hr of tubing the kids :D. It was a great day...sunny skies and air temp of 84 degrees and just a few people on the lake.
