i have a 85 supra sunsport i think not really sure what kind. dumb of me i guess.. i have been restoring the boat, replaced stringers re fiberglassed the floor and am about to paint the boat and trailer. i will try to post pictures later. you will get a kick out of my boat lift. My real question is should i pull the motor to inspect . it runs great though, never had a boat start so easy. i have had the boat for three years and used it two summers but now that i am putting time and what little money i have to spend on it. i have looked at some of the boats on here and like some of what i see. just lookin for another opinion.

Pictures would be good. Did you not pull the motor to do the stringers?

if its out i would regasket it and check bearing and ring clearances. well if you understand what i said do it otherwise drive it till she blows. I am a car tech so i am more apt to do mechanical work and not touch something with bad stringers
