Yes, do it on and off.... its a great relaxing sport. Much easier on the back and knees than wakeboarding!

Heck yes I typically wake in the morning, then empty drivers side sacs and fill a surf sac on the floor, and then surf for the afternoon. Surfing makes me really want a lot of surf boards so I can try different stuff. Having the right sized board for your weight is essential as well as droppin that rub rail deep!

Surfed around 45 days this season. Did a LOT more surfing than wakeboarding. Obsessed with surfboards (I think there's 6 in my quiver right now....)

Probably going to keep adding over the winter as I see used boards come up for sale. I'm not that good at either wakeboarding or surfing.... but the surf board seems to have more to do with how you're able to ride it than any wakeboard I've ever noticed.

What do you think of the Oogle and the Shred Stixx? I am tempted to get a Shred used from WakeOutlaws.com they go for like $250 once and a while.

The shred stixx is actually just a board that I am borrowing/demoing.... and.... it's completely different from anything else I've ever ridden. It floats REALLY high and WILL NOT go in a straight line. You have to constantly pump to ride it. It's too small for me (I'm around 210-215lbs) and it doesn't have enough push on my wave.

The oogle and the walzer are what I spend 90% of my time on. The phase 5 is really a great board and I'm SO SO SO close to spinning 360s on it. They are easier on the Walzer, but the oogle has more "push" to it.

We learned to surf this year I bought a Liquid force board to start. Wife loves it [100 lbs]
too small for me at 200 lbs [keep sinking the nose] . I got a Endless Break board from the dealer foam filled very buoyant I do pretty good on it. I would love to come north next year and try some different boards if it ever gets warm again.

sandm when I see your post I can't see anything about ya! Location, what model and year boat, etc. You can put that in your profile or your signature if ya want. :)

Have you tried fakie heelside on the regular wave? hehe
