what type of oil and oil filter?

I have a 86 sunsport, ford 351,
What type of oil should I be using and oil filter?

Wondering that myself. I have a 96 ts6m. With the 351 gt40. Manual says straight 40 weight but 20w40 or20w50 may be used during cold conditions. No mention at all what size filter. There is a larger mercruiser one on there now. I see your in Houghton Mi. I love sledding up there.
