Hey guys,

I have been doing a ton of research on here over the past few years and decided I would finally post something. I think some of you might of seen my 91 SS I had on ebay. I had to sell it due to building a house and needed to get a roof over it before winter. Anyways, it was my pride and joy....killed me to see it go. I did get a great return on it though and with the money I got from selling it I not only am going to get my house roughed in for winter but, I also bought an 1987 Sunsport Skier. So I am pretty much going to be starting over with this new project. I will post some updates as they come along. Just wanted to see what you all thought of it. I only paid 3,000 for the boat and trailer and it came with everything in the pics. Floor is in better shape than my 91. The tower is homemade I think, can't find any name or numbers on it but its super strong a comes apart fairly easy. Its actually a lot more sturdy than the samson sports tower I had on my 91. The hour meter reads 1131 but The motor was redone at 600hours. The 351 has got some nice upgrades to it, crane cam, edelbrock intake and 600cfm carb. Did not get to put it in the water yet but I did start it up with a fake lake and everything ran smooth, sounds mean. Going to try and make it a wake machine with built in ballast and some new decals for looks. Let me know what you all think and any ideas would be great.

LOLOL The Holy Roller huh? That is freakin sweet looks like there was some god rock jammin out on this boat. They put some love into her. New back seat, new labels on the dash hehe.. Looks like they found out the gunwales require thin profile speakers. Nice solution. Killer price you got a keeper! Personally, I put fat sacs in the rear ski locker and under the rear bench seat, and two in the open bow (they tuck along the sides of the bow and do not take up any bow storage space!) then I use an optional 750 sac on the floor just for surfing. THat is the only sac not hidden! Reprop it with an ACME 913 from Nettlesprops.com and you are good to go! Check my thread if you want https://forum.supraboats.com/showthread.php?t=3630

HaHA Yeah, not sure what it means but the guy told me its something to do with walking on water. Not well versed with the bible. He bought it that way, guess the original owner was a real bible thumper. He was to afraid to take it off, thought it would jinx the boat....... It will be coming off very soon along with the rest of the decals

Hope to get down to the lake this weekend and get the boat out for the first time. Going to get started on my ballast setup this week. Gota thank mikey for all the help. Excited about the project but I really wish I was taking my 91 this weekend. Really going to miss that stargazer. Oh well, got lots of time to tinker.....
